There is a wide range of opportunities to work abroad – depending on your preferences; especially concerning time and salary.
1) Social Work and Volunteer Work
Maybe you are interested in temporary work abroad after college or during your studies. Maybe you are desperate to take a gap year from your working career or you just want to travel after you retire. What most people do is to ´travel and work abroad for a year. The focus is primary not to make a big salary but to fund your time overseas. There are many programs like social work or volunteer work. Be careful, some programs are for free (including food & accommodation), but unfortunately there are many.
2) Backpacker and Travel Jobs
If your focus is stronger on making some cash then get yourself a travel job. Travel Jobs or Backpacker Jobs are especially advertised for travelers – therefore most of the time you don’t need a special qualification (expect the language spoken).
3) Work Exchange – Work for Accommodation
Work Exchange is great way to find accommodation abroad. The term refers to a fair exchange between budget travelers and families, individuals or organizations.
